Hawayein - The real story

Hawayein is a film about the aftermath that shook the Sikh community following the assassination of Indira Gandhi on October 31, 1984. It is a dramatization of the real life events that both preceded and followed this incident including Operation Blue Star, the anti-Sikh riots of 1984 and the subsequent victimization of Sikhs in Punjab in the years that followed.
