Bhog of Akhand Paths in Fremont Gurdwara on April 14

FREMONT: To overcome the debt of $1 lakh and to complete the $ 7 lakh Canopy building project, a fund raising will be started, said Harjot Singh Khalsa while outlining the new religious functions for the current year. 

He said that special arrangements will be made for providing religious education and teaching of Punjabi language to kids and youth. In future provisions will be made to invite renowned Raagi Jathas and experienced preachers.The birth of Khalsa, Vaisakhi will be celebrated with great ervour and a series of 14 Akhand Paths will be started on 12 April and the bhog will take place on April 14 in the afternoon. 

Apart from this, in connection with the tercentenary celebrations of Guruship of Guru Granth sahib, a series of 101 Akand paths is also being started. Special preparations are being made by Bhai Balvir singh Gakhal, Bhai Sadhu Singh Dhami, Bhai Resham Singh and Head Granthi of Gurdwara Sahib, Bhai Gurpreet Singh.
