Sacrilege in Delhi as Guru Granth Saroop is dishonoured
WSN Network

NEW DELHI: With more than a 100 plus devout Sikhs protesting near the precincts of the historic Gurdwara Nanak Piao Sahib, the situation is still tense as the police refuses to book Ravi Singal, who a Saroop of Guru Granth onto the streets in a bid to vacate his tenant.

A few days back, the tenant was attacked by his landlord and forcibly evicted from the second floor apartment of the  State Bank Colony near Gurdwara Nanak Piao Sahib.

The Sikh's apartment had already been emptied due to the eviction but Guru Maharaj's Saroop had not been moved due to a family emergency.

Though the DSGMC has intervened, till last reports came in, no action has been initiated against the landlord and the local neighbors who supported him by the police of the area. A round-the-clock vigil and protest is on.
