‘One Light’ to be lit at Danville
Film Festival
WSN Bureau
DANVILLE:
- One
Light a film by Angad Singh, which has already won acclaim
worldwide, will be screened at the Danville International Children's
Film Festival on 17 May in the historic Danville downtown located
close to the Bay Area,
California.
As the film
offers an introduction to the Sikh identity from the perspective of
a child, Sikh children would greatly benefit as it would help in
spreading more awareness about Sikhs and their unique identity.
Apart from this,
the Film Festival will have an array of top children's films
selected from around the world and will run at the festival for full
three days. Though some events are free, others are nominally priced
under $10 such as "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3D" and
"Cheaper by the Dozen 2".
So, all film
buffs, young and old, may Call Village Theatre box office at
925-314-3463 for reservations. The Town Hall and the Village Theater
are located at 201 Front Street, Danville, which is about 25 miles
from Fremont.
