Dal Khalsa march with ardas in memory of
Shaheed Beant Singh

AMRITSAR: To counter the threat of demographic change in Punjab, to uphold the significance of mother tongue Punjabi and to protect and preserve Sikh culture, the Dal Khalsa planned a two day Punjab Jagao March on 31 October and 1st November. The march began on 31 October with Ardas at Akal Takht Sahib in the memory of Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh.

Traversing through Amritsar, Jandiala, Khalchian, Raiyya, Pheruman, Beas, Baba Bakala byepass, Kartarpur, Jalandhar, it will terminate at Phagwara. On 1st November it will start from Gurdwara Sukhchiana Sahib, Phagwara with Ardas in the memory of all the victims of the anti-Sikh pogrom of November 1984. Traversing through Banga, Khatkalkalan, Nawanshahr, Garhshankar, Sailakhurd, Mahilpur, Chabbewal, it will terminate at Hoshiarpur.
