Nandgarh-led march against dera head called off
WSN Network

SRIGANGANAGAR: After a 70-hour standoff between the Rajasthan government and hundreds of Sikhs led by Takht Damdama Sahib jathedar Balwant Singh Nandgarh who were stopped from entering the state to take part in a protest march against the Sacha Sauda Dera, the march had to be called off. It was after Akal Takht jathedar Joginder Singh Vedanti issued a hukamnama directing all Sikhs, including Balwant Singh Nandgarh, to end the three-day old dharna on the state’s border with Punjab that the Sikh leaders complied and returned home. Ek Noor Khalsa Fauz and other Sikh organizations had on Sunday announced the march against the dera headed by Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
