Punjabi Sahitya Academy to meet on 29 June

FREMONT: The quarterly meeting of the California-Bay Area and Freznoe branches of the Vishwa Punjabi Sahitya Academy (VIPSA) would be held on 29 June at the Milpitas City Library during which there will be book releases, discussions and Kavi Darbar.  Jagjit Naushehrvi,the general secretary of VIPSA, in a statement to the media stated that Dr. Gurmail Sidhu’s book, Khulli Kavita de Mapdand, Sukhdarshan Dhaliwal’s book, Sach de Sanmukh will be released and Kulwinder will read a paper on Ishar Singh Soman’s Ghazal collection, Kalma te Kasturi.  He has appealed to the local Punjabi population to attend the function.

Leading poets Sukhwinder Kambhoj, Kulwinder, Surinder Seerat, Harjinder Kan, Dr. Gurmail Sidhu, Rarook Taraaz, Dr. Sukhpal Sanghera, Darshan Natt, Ishar Singh Soman, Nacy Gilani, Jas Fiza, Pankaj Aansal, Gurcharn Singh Falak will attend the Kavi Darbar.
