Mann to release speeches

CHANDIGARH: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann will release at Jalandhar on October 25 a DVD of his Parliament speeches made during his five-year term as MP.    

Meanwhile, his party has planned two rallies one at Attari on October 28 to press from the opening of the border, and another on November 28 in front of Burail Jail, Chandigarh, to protest against the death sentence pronounced for Sikhs in the Beant Singh assassination case.

Mann is currently eager to stress his party's political space in the scheme of things after the fall out with Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu.
