Vedanti will be chief guest at Manhattan Sikh Parade
WSN Network 

NEW YORK: Akal Takht jathedar Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti will be the Chief Guest at the 21st Sikh Day Parade, in Manhattan, NY on April 26, 2008 that will start at 1215 hours from 40, Broadway and shall reach at 1500 hours the same day at 23 St, Madison Park. Gurbaksh Singh Malhi and Ruby Dhalla, both Canadian Members of Parliament will be participating in the parade. 

The Sikh Cultural Society, Richmond Hill and several management committees of various gurdwaras, Sikh forums and citizenry from the tri-states area is backing the event. President of the Society Avtar Singh Pannu, Chairman Bawa Rajinder Singh Lali and general secretary Raghubir Singh Giljian will be at hand to welcome the sangat.
