Guru Nanak with students at Atlanta Film Festival
WSN Bureau
As the Bradley
Central High School and Walker Valley High School students in the
broadcast media programs took a trip to
Atlanta
on April 18 to visit CNN studios, the ESPN Zone and the Atlanta Film
Festival, one highlight of the trip was taking in the day's "Teen
Screen" portion of the Atlanta Film Festival. It was here that they
came across the screening at Midtown Cinema included an
extraordinary short documentary by 13-year-old filmmaker Angad Singh
titled "One Light," as well as a feature teen documentary spotlight,
"Road to Rome," by several high school seniors from the Atlanta
area.
After the
screening, the broadcasting students were able to ask Singh
questions about his project and his personal beliefs, which are
shared throughout the informative film. The Bradley County Schools
broadcast media students are instructed by Shroyer at Bradley
