Sikh Children Day on April 5

The 5th Annual Sikh Children Day 2008 is being celebrated on Saturday April 5^th in Gurdwara  Sahib Fremont.

All the preparations are complete for Sikh Children Day celebration for Sikh children Day Saturday at Fremont Gurdwara Sahib. Last year, more than 400 children participated in different activities and competitions. Entire day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm is dedicated with different activities and competitions. The day will start with an ardaas and Sikh parade by Fremont Khalsa School. Dastaar competition, Gatka competition, Parshaada competition, Basketball competition and Sikh Art contest will be held for different groups. Mission of this dedicated day is to instill the spirit of Sikhi in your youth and set up the stage to celebrate the birth day of Khalsa in a way so we feel proud of what we are and of our history. We request entire Sangat of bay area to join us on this special day. There will be souvenirs, prizes and many more activities for all ages.
