Shoddy ways of Punjab Govt
WSN Network

CHANDIGARH: This is how governments work in most shoddy ways. Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal's media advisor Harcharan Bains has asked the Director, Information and Public Relations, Punjab, to submit a report within a week after studying the language policies of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Apparently this is to help implement the unanimous Vidhan Sabha resolution on the use of Punjabi in the state. How is the Director, PR capable of churning out such a report and how can someone study the language policies of a few states within a matter of one week and then draft a report is something that neither Badal nor Bains seems to be bothered about. It just goes to show exactly how serious is government about Punjabi.
