Darbara Singh’s grandson mows four with BMW
WSN Network

NEW DELHI: In a chilling reminder of the BMW accident of 1999 that claimed six lives, but with less tragic consequences, a drunken driver rammed his BMW car into a truck early on Sunday morning, injuring four people, one of them critically. The 28-year-old Gurmeet Singh later identified himself as the grandson of former Punjab CM Darbara Singh. He runs a transport business from his home in Noida and, though his family members insisted he was a teetotaller, cops said he was drunk at the time of the accident.
