Par Singh started his career as founder of Evenio Media and developed an award winning multimedia publishing platform.  After a range of postings and promotions, he has joined Microsoft.

As Managing Director of the company, he champions diversity and at the recent opening of the centre shared the dias with Premier Gordon Campbell.

"I look at this stage as the beginning of what we're going to do," Parminder (Par) Singh, MCDC managing director, said in an interview. "I would love to say that I know the direction that we are going to head in the future, but that would be like predicting the weather. The economy is one of the key indicators for how we grow here. Our access to specific talent that has expertise in specific areas is also key."

In a recent interview Parminder Singh has said that “Diversity makes our products better and we have employees at MCDC representing 45 countries, and speaking 15 languages.

MCDC will work with all the major Microsoft software platforms, including Windows, Vista, Office, AD Search, Zune, Xbox 360 and Ad Platform.
