Ryan to open schools in rural Punjab

Ludhiana: Grace Pinto, the Managing Director of St Xavier’s and Ryan Group of Institutions, has announced the decision of the Ryan group to open schools in the rural areas of Punjab. “We have approached the state government to give us land for opening Adarsh schools in the state, but have not got a nod for it yet. We have now requested the parents of some wards for arranging a piece of land for opening the school. We hope that we will get it,” Pinto was quoted by the Indian Express’ Chandigarh edition as saying. Ryan has 107 branches all over India, and in three foreign countries. Pinto said that 25 per cent seats of schools are booked for underprivileged, children of widows, and from the families of freedom fighters etc.
