Pak Gurdwara panel to back Kartarpur Sahib Sports event

SAN JOSE: Jathedar Bishan Singh, President of Pakistan Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, has committed that they fully support opening of the Kartarpur Sahib Marg. He also said the PSGPC will support sports events such as Kabbadi and the Miracle Mile Marathon dedicated to track four udassis (travel trips of Baba Nanak) at Kartarpur Sahib on November 11th - November 13, 2008 where teams from India and Pakistan will participate.

S. Bishan Singh and Dr. Swaran Singh appreciated S. Ganga Singh Dhillon, S. Sangehra from UK, Dr. Pritpal Singh, S. Jaswant Singh Hothi, S. Baniwal, Rashpal Singh Dhinsa and the whole Sikh community for supporting Pakistan Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee in Pakistan.

Jaswant Singh Hothi, senior vice president of the AGPC said they have raised funds from Seattle, Texas, and Bay Area and donated Rs. 23 lakh to help earthquake victims. He said, "We are going to host sports event at Kartarpur Sahib in November 2008."

TeriSikhi Facilitator, Jaspal Singh Sandhu, welcomed Pakistan Gurudwara Commitee Jathedar Bishan Singh and Dr. Swaran Singh. He appreciated Bay Area Sangant, Fremont Gurudwara, San Jose, El Soberante Sangat, and around the world who signed up for the 20 million signature campaign to open Kartarpur Sahib marg.
