Haryana moving towards new SGPC
WSN Network

Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said the report of the Harmohinder Singh Chatha committee is almost ready and will be submitted within 15 days, following which a decision to constitute the Haryana Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee would be taken.

The eight-member Chatha committee was set up under the chairmanship of Agriculture Minister Harmohinder Singh Chatha on August 22, 2005.

Haryana has seven gurdwaras which are controlled by the SGPC. These are Nada Sahib near Panchkula, Manji Sahib and Panjokhra Sahib in Ambala, Guru Teg Bahadur and Dhampan Sahib in Jind, Kapal Mochan in Yamunanagar and Chhati Pathshai in Kurukshetra.
