Turbaned Bharatnatyam

Jatinder Pal Singh from Mumbai is perhaps the only Sikh Bharatnatyam exponent, who at 47 has been dancing his tha-thai steps for the last 18 years. A professional dancer, he enthralled the audience during a recent performance at the Nehru Centre in London. He learnt the nuances from actress Vayjantimala and Guru Shrimani.
