Sahibzada ajit singh Academy signs MOU with Thailand's saengthong 

Roopnagar: Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy, a residential school has added one more feather in its cap by signing a protocol with Saengthong Vitthaya School in Thailand.  This is one of the reputed 8 Salesian schools in Thailand located at Hatyai City in Songkhla province. From. Phuwanat signed the MoU with Academy Director, Mr Sukhjinder Singh during his visit to the school on their invitation. Twelve students of the Academy Mr Gurvir Singh, Mr Tejinder Singh, Mr Gagandeep Singh, Miss Harshpreet Kaur, Miss Avneet Kaur, Mr Dilpreet Singh, Mr Ranjodh Singh, Mr Gurkirat Singh, Mr Gurtej Singh, Mr Harbinder Singh, Mr Tajinder Singh & Mr Deep Kamal accompanied him during this two week program at Thailand.   

‘This protocol is not with one Salesian School of Thailand but with all 8 schools located in different parts of Thailand means our students would find the school of their choice there if wanted to study in Thailand. On the other hand, Thai students in Salesian Schools are all prepared to come to SASA for their schooling. These Sister Schools would send their students for 1 to 4 year schooling at SASA from next session.’ told Mr Singh. 

Fr. Phuwanat added, ‘This is for the first time in the History of Thailand that such a protocol have been signed with an Indian school.’    

Mr Suvit, the big Industrialist and President of Parents Teachers Association of Salesian Schools of Thailand told, ‘This protocol would enable the next generation to understand the problems of South-Asian countries as well as would open the new chapters in the field of education and employment.’ As narrated by Mr Singh.  

The visiting students of SASA stayed with the Thai families to understand the Thai tradition, culture and heritage. They were arranged to visit National Science Museum, International Horticultural Exposition for His Majesty the King in Chiangmai, Butter Fly Garden, Dream World, Wat Phrathat DOI Suthep (The famous Buddihst Temple on the mountain), Elephant Show & Ride, Bamboo Rafting, Night Zoo in Chiang Mai, Traditional Thai Art and Cultural Shows at Bangkok & The International Royal Flora Festival-2006.
